And he said to me, “These waters are going out to the eastern region, and they go down to the Jordan Valley,[a] and they come to the sea[b] and flow into the sea where they issue out,[c] and the waters in the sea will be healed.[d] And then every living creature with which it teems,[e] to every place the waters come[f] it will live; and very many fish will live because these waters came there, and so the water will be healed[g] and everything will be alive everywhere that[h] the stream will come.[i] 10 And then fishers[j] from En Gedi and on up to En Eglaim will stand beside it, a sea-girt drying yard for nets; their fish for the dragnets will be of every kind,[k] like the fish of the great sea,[l] and very many.

When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh.(B) Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.(C) 10 Fishermen(D) will stand along the shore; from En Gedi(E) to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets.(F) The fish will be of many kinds(G)—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.(H)
