Ezekiel 7:25-27

25 When anguish comes, they will seek (A)peace, but there will be none. 26 (B)Disaster will come upon disaster and (C)rumor will be added to rumor; then they will seek a (D)vision from a prophet, but the (E)Law will be lost from the priest, and (F)counsel from the elders. 27 The king will mourn, the prince will be (G)clothed in horror, and the hands of the people of the land will [a]tremble. I will deal with them because of their conduct, and by their judgments I will judge them. And they will know that I am the Lord.’”

Ezekiel 7:25-27
New International Version
25 When terror comes,
they will seek peace in vain.(A)
26 Calamity upon calamity(B) will come,
and rumor upon rumor.
They will go searching for a vision from the prophet,(C)
priestly instruction in the law will cease,
the counsel of the elders will come to an end.(D)
27 The king will mourn,
the prince will be clothed with despair,(E)
and the hands of the people of the land will tremble.
I will deal with them according to their conduct,(F)
and by their own standards I will judge them.
