Ezekiel 2:5-8
New American Standard Bible
5 As for them, (A)whether they listen or [a]not—for they are a rebellious house—they will (B)know that a prophet has been among them. 6 And as for you, son of man, you are (C)not to fear them nor fear their words, though (D)thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house. 7 But you shall (E)speak My words to them (F)whether they listen or [b]not, for they are rebellious.
8 “Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth wide and (G)eat what I am giving you.”

Ezekiel Prepares for Exile
12 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, you live in the (A)midst of the (B)rebellious house, who (C)have eyes to see but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house. 3 So as for you, son of man, prepare for yourself baggage for exile and go into exile by day in their sight; that is, go into exile from your place to another place in their sight. (D)Perhaps they will [a]understand, though they are a rebellious house.
