²⁵For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

²⁵Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.

³¹So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

³¹Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman,^(A) but of the free woman.^(B)
