5 We did not yield to subjection to them, not for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
6 But of these who seemed to be something—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality to anyone—for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me. 7 On the contrary, they saw that I was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, as the gospel to the circumcised was to Peter.

5 We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel(A) might be preserved for you.
6 As for those who were held in high esteem(B)—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism(C)—they added nothing to my message.(D) 7 On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task(E) of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised,[a](F) just as Peter(G) had been to the circumcised.[b]
