28 And you, brothers, are children of the promise in accordance with Isaac. 29 But just as at-that-time the one having been born according to the flesh was persecuting the one born according to the Spirit, so also now. 30 But what does the Scripture say? “Send-out the slave-woman and her son. For the son of the slave-woman shall by no means inherit with the son of the free woman” [Gen 21:10].

New International Version
28 Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise.(A) 29 At that time the son born according to the flesh(B) persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit.(C) It is the same now. 30 But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”[a](D)
