4 But each man prove his own work, and so he shall have glory [only] in himself, and not in another.
5 For each man shall bear his own charge.
6 He that is taught in word, commune he with him that teacheth him, in all goods. [Forsooth he that is taught by word, commune to him that teacheth him, in all good things.]

4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone,(A) without comparing themselves to someone else,(B) 5 for each one should carry their own load.(C) 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.(D)
