New International Version

³¹God saw all that he had made,^(A) and it was very good.^(B) And there was evening, and there was morning^(C)—the sixth day.

²And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

²By the seventh day^(A) God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.^(B)
