¹⁷ And he put them all in custody^(A) for three days.

¹⁸ On the third day, Joseph said to them, “Do this and you will live, for I fear God:^(A)

⁵ Rehoboam answered, “Go away for three days and then come back to me.” So the people went away.

¹² Three days later Jeroboam and all the people returned to Rehoboam, as the king had said, “Come back to me in three days.”

⁶³ “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’^(A)
