¹⁴ The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “^(A)Now raise your eyes and look from the place where you are, ^(B)northward and southward, and eastward and westward; ^15 (C)for all the land which you see ^(D)I will give to you and to your ^[a]descendants forever.

⁵ And it shall be when the Lord ^(A)brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which ^(B)He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, ^(C)that you shall ^[a]perform this rite in this month.

²⁴ So I have said to you, “^(A)You are to take possession of their land, and I Myself will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, who has ^(B)singled you out from the peoples.
