⁷And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

Genesis 31:7

New International Version

⁷yet your father has cheated^(A) me by changing my wages^(B) ten times.^(C) However, God has not allowed him to harm me.^(D)

⁹Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.

⁹So God has taken away your father’s livestock^(A) and has given them to me.^(B)
