²⁹ Now Reuben returned to the pit, and behold, Joseph was not in the pit; so he ^(A)tore his garments.

³⁴ So Jacob ^(A)tore his clothes, and put on a sackcloth undergarment over his waist, and mourned for his son many days.

⁶ And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;
