³⁵ Then all his sons and all his daughters got up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. And he said, “Surely I will ^(A)go down to Sheol in mourning for my son.” So his father wept for him.

²⁹ If you also take this one from ^[a]me, and harm happens to him, you will ^(A)bring my gray hair down to Sheol in ^[b]sorrow.’

³¹ when he sees that the boy is not with us, he will die. So your servants will ^(A)bring the gray hair of your servant, our father, down to Sheol in sorrow.
