²⁰ As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and ^(A)make him fruitful and multiply him exceedingly. ^(B)He shall father twelve princes, and I will make him into a ^(C)great nation.

⁷ But the sons of Israel ^(A)were fruitful and ^[a]increased greatly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly ^[b]mighty, so that the land was filled with them.

¹⁰ The Lord your God has ^(A)multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars of heaven in number.
