Genesis 12:5-7

5 So Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their (A)possessions which they had accumulated, and (B)the [a]persons which they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go forth to the land of Canaan; (C)thus they came to the land of Canaan. 6 And Abram passed through the land as far as the site of (D)Shechem, to the [b]oak of Moreh. Now the Canaanite was then in the land. 7 Then Yahweh (E)appeared to Abram and said, “(F)To your seed I will give this land.” So he built (G)an altar there to Yahweh who had appeared to him.

New International Version
5 He took his wife Sarai,(A) his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated(B) and the people(C) they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan,(D) and they arrived there.
6 Abram traveled through the land(E) as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh(F) at Shechem.(G) At that time the Canaanites(H) were in the land. 7 The Lord appeared to Abram(I) and said, “To your offspring[a] I will give this land.(J)”(K) So he built an altar there to the Lord,(L) who had appeared to him.
