Genesis 13:10-12
New Century Version
10 Lot looked all around and saw the whole Jordan Valley and that there was much water there. It was like the Lord’s garden, like the land of Egypt in the direction of Zoar. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) 11 So Lot chose to move east and live in the Jordan Valley. In this way Abram and Lot separated. 12 Abram lived in the land of Canaan, but Lot lived among the cities in the Jordan Valley, very near to Sodom.

New International Version
10 Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain(A) of the Jordan toward Zoar(B) was well watered, like the garden of the Lord,(C) like the land of Egypt.(D) (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom(E) and Gomorrah.)(F) 11 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company: 12 Abram lived in the land of Canaan,(G) while Lot(H) lived among the cities of the plain(I) and pitched his tents near Sodom.(J)
