¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates,^(A)

³ then the Lord your God will return you from your captivity and have compassion on you, gathering you again from all the peoples among whom the Lord your God has scattered you.^(A)

⁴ Even if you are exiled to the ends of the world,^[a] from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will take you back.^(A)

¹¹ On that day the Lord will again raise^[a] his hand to recover the remnant that is left of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.^(A)
