⁵ Then Sarai said to Abram, “May the wrong done to me be on you! I gave my slave to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt. May the Lord judge between you and me!”^(A)

²⁵ Far be it from you to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”^(A)

⁵³ May the God of Abraham and the God of Nahor^[a] judge between us.” So Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac,^(A)

¹² May the Lord judge between me and you! May the Lord avenge me on you, but my hand shall not be against you.^(A)

¹⁵ May the Lord, therefore, be judge and give sentence between me and you. May he see to it and plead my cause and vindicate me against you.”^(A)
