Abraham and Abimelech make an agreement together

22 At that time Phicol was the leader of King Abimelech's army. Abimelech and Phicol said to Abraham, ‘We see that God helps you in everything that you do. 23 So please make a promise to me in front of God. Promise that you will never deceive me, or my children, or my descendants. You are living here in this land as a stranger. I have been kind to you, so please show that you will also be kind to us.’

22 At that time Abimelek(C) and Phicol the commander of his forces(D) said to Abraham, “God is with you in everything you do.(E) 23 Now swear(F) to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or my descendants.(G) Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you.”(H)
