²⁰ and Isaac was forty years old when he took ^(A)Rebekah, the ^(B)daughter of Bethuel the ^[a]Aramean of Paddan-aram, the ^(C)sister of Laban the ^[b]Aramean, to be his wife.

² Arise, go to Paddan-aram, to the house of ^(A)Bethuel your mother’s father; and from there take to yourself a wife from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.
