33 And Jacob said, “[a]First swear to me”; so he swore to him and (A)sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 So Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew; and he ate and drank and rose and went away. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew.(C) He ate and drank, and then got up and left.
So Esau despised his birthright.
