12 My father may possibly feel me, and I shall seem [a]to him as a [b]mocker: so shall I bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

13 But his mother said unto him, [c][d]Upon me be thy curse, my son: only hear my voice, and go and bring me them.

14 So he went and set them, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made pleasant meat, such as his father loved.

13 His mother said to him, “My son, let the curse fall on me.(C) Just do what I say;(D) go and get them for me.”

14 So he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and she prepared some tasty food, just the way his father liked it.(E)
