12 (A)Perhaps my father will touch me, then I will be like a [a]deceiver in his sight, and I will bring upon myself a curse and not a blessing.” 13 But his mother said to him, “Your curse be on me, my son; only (B)obey my voice, and go, get the goats for me.” 14 So he went and got them, and brought them to his mother; and his mother made a delicious meal such as his father loved.

12 What if my father touches me?(A) I would appear to be tricking him and would bring down a curse(B) on myself rather than a blessing.”
13 His mother said to him, “My son, let the curse fall on me.(C) Just do what I say;(D) go and get them for me.”
14 So he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and she prepared some tasty food, just the way his father liked it.(E)
