29 Laban gave his female servant Bilhah to Rachel to become her servant. 30 Jacob also slept with Rachel. He loved Rachel more than he loved Leah. He worked for Laban for seven more years.
31 The Lord saw that Jacob did not love Leah. So he let her become pregnant. But Rachel did not give birth to any children.

New International Version
29 Laban gave his servant Bilhah(A) to his daughter Rachel as her attendant.(B) 30 Jacob made love to Rachel also, and his love for Rachel was greater than his love for Leah.(C) And he worked for Laban another seven years.(D)
Jacob’s Children
31 When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved,(E) he enabled her to conceive,(F) but Rachel remained childless.
