36 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

⁸So Esau^(A) (that is, Edom)^(B) settled in the hill country of Seir.^(C)

⁸Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

⁹This is the account^(A) of the family line of Esau the father of the Edomites^(B) in the hill country of Seir.
