²⁰ So Joseph’s master took him and ^(A)put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined; and he was there in the prison.

¹⁰ Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in ^[a]prison, for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa mistreated some of the people at the same time.

²⁶ and say, ‘This is what the king says: “^(A)Put this man in prison, and feed him enough bread and water to survive until I ^[a]return safely.”’”
