²⁴ Then he turned away from them and ^(A)wept. But when he returned to them and spoke to them, he ^(B)took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.

² Then ^(A)he ^[a]wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard about it.

¹⁴ Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and ^(A)wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. ¹⁵ And he kissed all his brothers and wept on them, and afterward his brothers talked with him.

²⁹ And Joseph ^[a]prepared his chariot and went up to Goshen to meet his father Israel; as soon as he appeared to him, Joseph threw himself on his neck and ^(A)wept on his neck a long time.
