29 And he lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, Is this your younger brother, of whom ye spoke unto me? And he said, God be merciful unto thee, my son.

30 Then Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother; and he sought where to weep, and he entered into his chamber and wept there.

31 And he washed his face and went out and refrained himself and said, Serve bread.

29 As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son,(A) he asked, “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?”(B) And he said, “God be gracious to you,(C) my son.” 30 Deeply moved(D) at the sight of his brother, Joseph hurried out and looked for a place to weep. He went into his private room and wept(E) there.

31 After he had washed his face, he came out and, controlling himself,(F) said, “Serve the food.”(G)
