23 Enoch lived on earth for 365 years. 24 Enoch lived to please God all this time, then Enoch was not there any more. God took Enoch to be with him.[a]
25 When Methuselah was 187 years old, he had a son. He called him Lamech.[b]

23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God;(A) then he was no more, because God took him away.(B)
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(C)
