19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that were under the whole heaven were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both birds, and cattle, and beasts, and every [a]creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

New International Version
19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.(A) 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (B) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(C)
