¹⁰ “No, please!” said Jacob. “If I have found favor in your eyes,^(A) accept this gift^(B) from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God,^(C) now that you have received me favorably.^(D)

¹⁸ If any meat of the fellowship offering^(A) is eaten on the third day, the one who offered it will not be accepted.^(B) It will not be reckoned^(C) to their credit, for it has become impure; the person who eats any of it will be held responsible.^(D)

⁷ If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.^(A)

²³ You may, however, present as a freewill offering an ox^[a] or a sheep that is deformed or stunted, but it will not be accepted in fulfillment of a vow.

²⁵ and you must not accept such animals from the hand of a foreigner and offer them as the food of your God.^(A) They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are deformed and have defects.^(B)’”

²⁷ “When a calf, a lamb or a goat^(A) is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days.^(B) From the eighth day^(C) on, it will be acceptable^(D) as a food offering presented to the Lord.
