¹⁸Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

New International Version

¹⁸Pray for us.^(A) We are sure that we have a clear conscience^(B) and desire to live honorably in every way.

¹⁹But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

¹⁹I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.^(A)

²³Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

²³I want you to know that our brother Timothy^(A) has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you.
