⁹There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

⁹There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

⁹There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.

¹⁰For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

¹⁰for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,^[a]^(A) just as God did from his.^(B)

¹⁰For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
