2 In these last days,(A) he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things(B) and made the universe[a](C) through him. 3 The Son is the radiance[b] of God’s glory and the exact expression[c] of his nature,(D) sustaining all things by his powerful word.(E) After making purification for sins,[d] he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.[e](F) 4 So he became superior to the angels, just as the name he inherited is more excellent than theirs.(G)

After he had provided purification for sins,(I) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.(J) 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.(K)
