8 But to the Son, He says, “O God, Your throne is forever and ever. The scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Therefore God - even Your God - has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your associates.”
10 And, “You, Lord, established the earth in the beginning. And the heavens are the works of Your hands.

8 But about the Son he says,

a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions(B)
by anointing you with the oil(C) of joy.”[a](D)
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.(E)
