Hebrews 10:29-31
New Catholic Bible
29 How much more punishment do you think is deserved by the one who has contempt for the Son of God, profanes the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insults the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know the one who said,
“Vengeance is mine; I will repay,”
and
“The Lord will judge his people.”
31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God(A) underfoot,(B) who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant(C) that sanctified them,(D) and who has insulted the Spirit(E) of grace?(F) 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a](G) and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b](H) 31 It is a dreadful thing(I) to fall into the hands(J) of the living God.(K)
