Hebrews 12:27-29

^[a] ²⁷Now this phrase, “Yet once more,” shows the removal of those things that are shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. ^[b] ²⁸Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude—through this we may offer worship in a manner pleasing to God, with reverence and awe. ²⁹For our God is a consuming fire.

²⁸Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,^(B) let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,^(C) ²⁹for our “God is a consuming fire.”^[a]^(D)
