Hebrews 3:8-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 (A)Do not harden your hearts as [a]when they provoked Me,
As in the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 (B)Where your fathers tried Me by testing Me,
And saw My works for (C)forty years.
10 “(D)Therefore I was angry with this generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
And they did not know My ways’;

- Hebrews 3:8 Lit in the provocation
Hebrews 3:8-10
New International Version
8 do not harden your hearts(A)
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
9 where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.(B)
10 That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
