3 And behind (A)the second veil there was a tabernacle which is called the (B)Holy of Holies, 4 having a golden [a](C)altar of incense and (D)the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was (E)a golden jar holding the manna, and (F)Aaron’s rod which budded, and (G)the tablets of the covenant. 5 And above it were the (H)cherubim of glory (I)overshadowing the [b]mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

3 Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place,(A) 4 which had the golden altar of incense(B) and the gold-covered ark of the covenant.(C) This ark contained the gold jar of manna,(D) Aaron’s staff that had budded,(E) and the stone tablets of the covenant.(F) 5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(G) overshadowing the atonement cover.(H) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
