¹¹whoredom, wine, and new wine,
which ^(A)take away the understanding.

¹¹to prostitution;^(A)
old wine^(B) and new wine
take away their understanding.^(C)

⁵On the day of ^(A)our king, the princes
became sick with the heat of wine;
he stretched out his hand with mockers.

⁵On the day of the festival of our king
the princes become inflamed with wine,^(A)
and he joins hands with the mockers.^(B)
