6 “^(A)Come, let’s return to the Lord.
For ^(B)He has torn us, but ^(C)He will heal us;
He has ^[a]wounded us, but He will ^(D)bandage us.

⁶ So as for you, ^(A)return to your God,
^(B)Maintain ^[a]kindness and justice,
And ^(C)wait for your God continually.

¹³ And ^(A)tear your heart and not merely ^(B)your garments.”
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is ^(C)gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And ^(D)relenting of catastrophe.
