9 Like robbers lie in wait for a man, a group of religious leaders kill on the way to Shechem. For sure they have done a sinful thing. 10 I have seen a very bad thing among the people of Israel. Ephraim has left Me to worship false gods. Israel has made itself unclean. 11 Also, Judah, there is a time coming for you, when I give back the riches of My people.

9 As marauders lie in ambush for a victim,(A)
so do bands of priests;
they murder(B) on the road to Shechem,
carrying out their wicked schemes.(C)
10 I have seen a horrible(D) thing in Israel:
There Ephraim is given to prostitution,
Israel is defiled.(E)
11 “Also for you, Judah,
a harvest(F) is appointed.
“Whenever I would restore the fortunes(G) of my people,
