17 (A)But Israel shall be saved by the Lord
With an (B)everlasting salvation;
You shall not be ashamed or (C)disgraced
Forever and ever.
18 For thus says the Lord,
(D)Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it [a]in vain,
Who formed it to be (E)inhabited:
(F)“I am the Lord, and there is no other.
19 I have not spoken in (G)secret,
In a dark place of the earth;
I did not say to the seed of Jacob,
‘Seek Me [b]in vain’;
(H)I, the Lord, speak righteousness,
I declare things that are right.

you will never be put to shame or disgraced,(C)
to ages everlasting.
18 For this is what the Lord says—
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,(D)
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,(E)
but formed it to be inhabited(F)—
he says:
“I am the Lord,
and there is no other.(G)
19 I have not spoken in secret,(H)
from somewhere in a land of darkness;(I)
I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,(J)
‘Seek(K) me in vain.’
I, the Lord, speak the truth;
I declare what is right.(L)
