²⁶This is the purpose that is purposed
concerning the whole earth,
and this is ^(A)the hand that is stretched out
over all the nations.

²⁶This is the plan^(A) determined for the whole world;
this is the hand^(B) stretched out over all nations.

²⁷^(A)For the Lord of hosts has purposed,
and who will annul it?
^(B)His hand is stretched out,
and who will turn it back?

²⁷For the Lord Almighty has purposed,^(A) and who can thwart him?
His hand^(B) is stretched out, and who can turn it back?^(C)
