⁷The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

New International Version

⁷All the lands are at rest and at peace;^(A)
they break into singing.^(B)

⁸Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

⁸Even the junipers^(A) and the cedars of Lebanon
gloat over you and say,
“Now that you have been laid low,
no one comes to cut us down.”^(B)
