¹⁸ With whom, then, will you compare God?^(A)
    To what image^(B) will you liken him?

²⁵ “To whom will you compare me?^(A)
    Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.^(B)
26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:^(C)
    Who created^(D) all these?
He who brings out the starry host^(E) one by one
    and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,^(F)
    not one of them is missing.^(G)

¹⁰ “You are my witnesses,^(A)” declares the Lord,
    “and my servant^(B) whom I have chosen,
so that you may know^(C) and believe me
    and understand that I am he.
Before me no god^(D) was formed,
    nor will there be one after me.^(E)
11 I, even I, am the Lord,^(F)
    and apart from me there is no savior.^(G)
12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
    I, and not some foreign god^(H) among you.
You are my witnesses,^(I)” declares the Lord, “that I am God.
¹³     Yes, and from ancient days^(J) I am he.^(K)
No one can deliver out of my hand.
    When I act, who can reverse it?”^(L)

¹⁹ No one stops to think,
    no one has the knowledge or understanding^(A) to say,
“Half of it I used for fuel;^(B)
    I even baked bread over its coals,
    I roasted meat and I ate.
Shall I make a detestable^(C) thing from what is left?
    Shall I bow down to a block of wood?”^(D)
