⁸ “But you, Israel, my servant,^(A)
    Jacob, whom I have chosen,^(B)
    you descendants of Abraham^(C) my friend,^(D)

⁹ I took you from the ends of the earth,^(A)
    from its farthest corners I called^(B) you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;^(C)
    I have chosen^(D) you and have not rejected you.

⁶ “I, the Lord, have called^(A) you in righteousness;^(B)
    I will take hold of your hand.^(C)
I will keep^(D) you and will make you
    to be a covenant^(E) for the people
    and a light^(F) for the Gentiles,^(G)

¹⁰ “You are my witnesses,^(A)” declares the Lord,
    “and my servant^(B) whom I have chosen,
so that you may know^(C) and believe me
    and understand that I am he.
Before me no god^(D) was formed,
    nor will there be one after me.^(E)
