⁶Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from ^(A)the altar.

⁶Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal^(A) in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

⁷And he ^(A)touched my mouth with it, and said:

“Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken away,
And your sin ^[a]purged.”

⁷With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips;^(A) your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.^(B)”
