¹⁹ These double calamities^(A) have come upon you—
    who can comfort you?^(B)—
ruin and destruction,^(C) famine^(D) and sword^(E)—
    who can^[a] console you?

²⁰ Your children have fainted;
    they lie at every street corner,^(A)
    like antelope caught in a net.^(B)
They are filled with the wrath^(C) of the Lord,
    with the rebuke^(D) of your God.
