Isaiah 16:2-4
Legacy Standard Bible
2 Then, like [a](A)fleeing birds or scattered [b]nestlings,
The daughters of (B)Moab will be at the fords of the (C)Arnon.
3 “Bring us counsel, make a decision;
[c]Cast your (D)shadow like night [d]at high noon;
(E)Hide those banished, do not reveal the one who flees.
4 Let the [e]banished of Moab sojourn with you;
Be a hiding place to them from the destroyer.”
For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased,
(F)Oppressors have completely disappeared from the land.
